Onze woning
People who come to visit our home usually say that it is very comfortable and peaceful. It has also been described as a great house for parties, because the house is oriented toward the school, but also has lots of pockets for people to sit and talk. All the rooms have windows or doors to the outside, and the house is decorated in warm colors. The pool is a salt water pool. The house sits on a corner lot, with lots of palms and other landscaping around. My car can come with the exchange, though I might be upgrading to a different car before Christmas 2012. I have pets, but can arrange for someone else to care for them during your stay. I have high speed internet and a large screen computer. The area is convenient to everything.
Onze wijk of buurt
Our house is in North Miami, and is right on the border of North Miami and Biscayne Park, which is a very tree-filled area with wide streets that calls itself a "bird sanctuary." It is 3 blocks from a shopping district which has subway and several restaurants, a large Art Museum and several art galleries. A large grocery is available a few blocks away, as well as Bank of America and Chase Bank. It is 10 to 15 minutes from the beach, due east, and is about 25 minutes from South Beach and 20 minutes from downtown. There are buses that go to the beach or to downtown passing 3 blocks from the house. Miami has great activities for children. Iin addition to the beach, there is a children's museum, a science museum, a parrot jungle, zoo, etc. South Beach, Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive are popular places to stroll and relax and eat, and Coconut Grove is a small community with a more historic feeling.

My name is Kelley. My daughter Gabriela, age 15, usually travels with me, and both of us love to travel. Recently, we went to Europe for several weeks, and finished up in Iceland. We were entranced with the landscape, and loved the people and the food, and so we are going back for Christmas!
We have two dogs and a cat (Sandy, Mo, and Brielle). Our dogs could be called "little brown dogs" and are the sort that like to be around us, in the same room all the time. They are very friendly and well-mannered. We can arrange for someone else to care for them if you come to my house to stay.
