The Douglas Cottage is a cosy 15 year old holiday woodhouse, in a nature garden, surrounded by beautifull forest.
A wooden terasse runs along the entire backside of the house, with terrassefurniture for 12 persons and a barberque.
The house was renovated 2 years ago, in respect for the original architecture, letting the light enter the lovely rooms from upstairs to downstairs, opening up the ground floor to one open space, except 1 db bedroom with seperate bathroom.
First floor includes 3 db bedrooms and a brand new bathroom, in the center an open space that invites to cosy hang outs. Small balcony perfect for enjoying tea in the morning sun. On top 2 hemz.

Our house is located in our a privat forestry, a beautifull nature full of lovely walking trails, in the forest, on the land, arround the lake, a very rare oppertunity to enjoy a pristine part of danish nature.
Grocery shopping just 5 min. away and so is a large indoor swimmingpool.

Silkeborg is renown for its beautifull lakes and surrounding nature. Also it is a very popular summerholiday destination.

We are a family of 5, parents and 3 school kids aged 11, 15, and 18. We also have Alba our 14 years old dachs dog.
We live and work on a farm, doing farming and conceptdevelopement. We enjoy the contryside and love to travel, sometimes visiting bigger cities.
