Our Brisbane inner city (Bardon) two level house has 4 bedrooms, downstairs 2 of the bedrooms open onto the lower deck with private views into the lush tropical garden. The upstairs bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and large ensuite bathroom, a perfect parents retreat! The large open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room boasts uninterrupted views of the foothills of Mt Coot-tha, covered with majestic gum trees hosting a variety of friendly wildlife. Sulfer Crested Cockatoos, King Parrots and Kookaburras visit daily. It’s regarded locally as the best street in Bardon.
The traditional Queenslander house was renovated in 2006. The house is tastefully appointed with beautiful Blackbutt flooring throughout, luxury European appliances, plasma television, high-speed cable internet and Cable TV, reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout and ceiling fans etc. We have a 3 year old boy so there are lots of great places to play with a sand pit and cubby house but these are safely tucked away if you wish to be child free!
We love coming home to our peaceful house which is so close to the buzz of the Paddington cafe scene and the city.

Bardon is a beautiful leafy suburb located 5km from Brisbane City, 5 mins from the vibrant hub and shopping precincts of Paddington, Rosalie & Toowong - not to mention numerous family friendly parks in walking distance including Bowman Park, Purtell Park and the beautiful walking/cycling tracks of Mt.Coot-tha, Brisbane Forest Park. Bus Stop - At the bottom of our street and the frequency is every 15 mins into the City and the journey takes about 20min out of peak hour traffic. From the city you can walk over one of the many bridges or catch the citycat to Southbank, the Museum and the Gallerys www.qag.qld.gov.au |

Alan is an IT Consultant working in the finance industry and Lucy is a Business Travel Consultant taking a break to raise our son Matthew. Matthew is aged 3 and Mum and Dad are in there early 40's.
We enjoy hiking, skiing and Alan is a keen triathlete.
Alan's family live in Scotland and Lucy has family in England so we like to visit Europe as often as possible.
